How to make a reservation

Self-Service Rental Process

All rentals are fully self-service: you book, pick up, and return the vehicle independently.
We do not have physical offices you need to visit before driving.
Our vehicles are distributed across various locations to make it easy for you to access one nearby.
Before your trip, we will send you instructions on how to get started.

Throughout your rental, you can use our convenient website m.24rent.fi, which works on all modern browsers and doesn’t require any installation.

Below is a brief overview of the rental process:

1. Book Online

Reserve the vehicle of your choice through our booking system at www.24rent.fi, and pay using online banking or a credit card.
Our booking system always provides up-to-date availability and pricing information.

After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with all reservation details and step-by-step instructions for picking up and returning the vehicle.
The email also contains a link to m.24rent.fi, where you can submit any additional required information. We recommend opening the link as soon as possible.

2. Inspect and Photograph the Vehicle Before Driving

Go to the vehicle when your reservation is about to begin.
Open the m.24rent.fi site on your phone. Use the damage checklist provided to inspect the vehicle for any new damages.
Report any new issues directly through the m.24rent site.

Take photos of the vehicle from different angles to document its condition at the start of your reservation.

You can access the vehicle 15 minutes before your reservation starts!
This gives you time to take photos and complete any other preparations in advance.

3. Unlock the Doors with Your Phone

Once you've inspected and photographed the vehicle, unlock the doors via the m.24rent.fi site or by SMS.
Detailed instructions for using and returning the vehicle can be found on the site, which will guide you through every step of the rental.

Please note: SMS commands only work from the phone number you provided during booking.

4. Use It Like Your Own Car

Once you're ready to drive, the car is yours to use.
Drive and park according to traffic regulations, and keep the car clean.
During your reservation, use the key to lock and unlock the doors as normal.
You’ll find the key inside the car in the designated location.

5. Return the Car with a Full Tank and Clean Interior

When you're ready to return the vehicle, fill the fuel tank completely.
(The correct fuel type is listed in the car's details and on the fuel cap.)
Then return the car to its original pickup location, remove your belongings, and clean the interior.

6. Photograph the Vehicle Again

At the end of your reservation, inspect the vehicle once more using the damage checklist.
Damages may have occurred unnoticed, especially if someone else used the car before you.
Even if no new damage is visible, take photos of the vehicle to document its condition upon return.

7. Lock the Doors with Your Phone

Place the key back in the designated spot and lock the doors using your phone.
Make sure all lights are turned off before leaving the car.
